Outreach, Commencement at Gib Lewis Prison

This is where the rubber meets the road!  James 1:22 tells us not just to hear the Word but to do it!  And Jesus tells us in Matthew to go out and make disciples, and to heal the sick, and to cast out demons, and to ….  So!  Let’s do it!

This is going to be unlike anything you’ve ever experienced.  You will be able to meet with current prisoners who have given their life to Jesus and you will be such an encouragement to them.  Many of these men never had anyone present for anything they’ve ever accomplished in life and you will be a stand in for missing family and friends in a time of great need.  Do not miss this opportunity to serve the Lord!

We will already be onsite at the prison since Thursday so you will need to drive up and meet us.  It’s about a 2 hour drive so carpooling would be ideal.  I hope to see all of you there!

Special RSVP instructions!

You must RSVP ASAP but you must submit your RSVP to the Jubilee Ministry specifically by completing the following:

• Go to the Jubilee Website.
• Click on “Get Involved”.
• Click on “Register for a Commencement”
• Click on the box labeled “Select Category”
• Scroll down to “Lewis” & select it.
• “Select Topic” Box should show “Commencement” already, if not, select it.
• Click “Search”
• The date (10/27/2024) should appear with “Gib Lewis #8 Commencement” – click “Register”
• Fill out the registration completely and click “Submit”

This needs to be done ASAP because the warden needs to approve you so that you can enter the prison.  If you plan on going, RSVP NOW!
