I was given a steel ring after completing ANDRIZO men’s camp. I wore it for a while and it began giving me a bit of a skin issue. Kinda like dry skin but I think it was more than that because it would not go away, even after months. It didn’t really bother me, although sometimes it was a bit itchy and I figured it really wasn’t that bid of a deal. Not being the kind to go to doctors or even want to rub something on it, I decided to just let it go until it healed itself. Problem is, it never did and then began splitting a bit. Well, at that point I began putting some natural ointment on it that my wife makes and it didn’t help. It’s a great ointment and many people love it but for me or for this, it didn’t help.
I had the idea that I should pray for it but I didn’t really want to bother God with such a small request so I let it keep going. Finally one day I felt like the Lord told me to tell it to go away, just like I do with other people’s sicknesses. I did. I spoke it out loud and in faith. I didn’t realize it was gone until about a week later. I was thrilled to know that
God cared enough about me to give me encouragement for such a small thing.
It tried to come back a few months later and I realized the enemy at work. I told it to leave again in Jesus’ name and since that day it has never returned!
